Replacing artificial turf
New turf foryour padel court
Artificial turf does not last forever. Once the carpet loses its grip, the court plays slippery and the risk of injury goes up. We help clubs and commercial operators renovate in time: new turf, laid safely and to last, and the old carpet back into the chain as raw material.
- Also for courts of other brands
- Old turf is processed 100% circularly
- From inspection to sand-filled turf

When to replace?
How to recognise worn turf
Wear rarely comes all at once. Intensive use, the weather and poor maintenance slowly rob the turf of its grip: the surface becomes slippery, the ball bounces differently and players slip more easily. That costs playing comfort and raises the risk of injury.
Look out for bald or dark patches, fibres that no longer stand up after brushing and water that drains poorly. A turf carpet typically lasts 4 to 7 years, depending on use and maintenance. Not sure about the condition of your turf? Get in touch for an inspection and we will see straight away whether maintenance is still enough.
If replacement is the best choice, a new turf carpet gives you:
- Optimal grip and agility for players
- Better ball bounce and control
- Less risk of slipping and injuries
- A professional look that attracts members

How it works
Replacing artificial turf in four steps
We take care of the whole process from A to Z. You know in advance what happens and when play can resume.
- One point of contact for the whole process
- Old turf removed according to environmental rules
- Advice up front: replace or keep maintaining
- Step 1
Inspection of the existing court
We check the condition of the turf, the infill sand and the base. Then we advise whether replacement is needed now, or whether maintenance is still enough.
- Step 2
Removing and disposing of the old turf
We remove the old turf and dispose of it according to environmental rules: not as residual waste, but on rolls to the recycling partner.
- Step 3
Preparing the base
We clean and level the base and make it ready for the new turf, so the carpet lies tight and even afterwards.
- Step 4
Installing the new turf
We lay the new turf, tension it precisely and fill it with sand. After that the court is ready to play on again.
Sustainable reuse
Your old turf becomes raw material
When replacing, we make sure the old turf is not disposed of as residual waste, but processed into 100% circular raw material.
Together with a specialised recycling partner we deliver the turf on rolls, after which it is fully reused within the chain.
That way your club contributes to a more sustainable sports park. And it gives you extra evidence for the municipality and for grant applications where sustainability counts. Read more about our turf and the closed loop on the page about artificial turf for padel courts.

Lifespan
Maintenance extends the lifespan
There is no need to replace sooner than necessary. Regular brushing and topping up sand prevents the turf from hardening and becoming slippery.
With good maintenance you extend the lifespan of a padel court by 2 to 3 years. That saves a considerable investment and keeps the court safe and pleasant to play on in the meantime.
Would you rather hand that over? Our maintenance service takes care of the periodic major maintenance for you, from deep cleaning to topping up the infill sand.
- 2 to 3years longer with good maintenance
- 4 to 7years is the typical lifespan of a carpet
- Topping upsand against hardening and slipperiness

Frequently asked questions
Questions about replacing artificial turf
Is your question not listed? Call us on +31 527 210 040 or send a message.
When should the artificial turf of a padel court be replaced?
When the turf has lost its grip: the court plays slippery, the ball bounces unevenly and you see bald or dark patches where the fibres no longer stand up. Typically that is after 4 to 7 years, depending on use and maintenance. If in doubt, we inspect the court and advise whether maintenance is still enough.
Can I postpone replacement with good maintenance?
Yes, by 2 to 3 years. As long as the fibres still stand up, brushing and topping up sand keep the turf in condition. But worn is worn: on a slippery turf that has lost its grip, maintenance no longer helps.
Do you also replace turf on courts of other brands?
Yes. It does not matter who built your court. We first inspect the court and the base and then advise which turf suits it.
What happens to the old turf?
It goes on rolls to a specialised recycling partner and is fully processed into circular raw material. Nothing ends up as residual waste, and you can show that to the municipality or in a grant application.
Which types of turf can I choose from?
From professional match turf with built-in lines to recreational variants with extra cushioning. Which turf suits you depends on your location and the use. Request a price indication and we will include the type of turf straight away.
