What is pickleball?
Tennis, badminton and table tennis in one sport
Pickleball is a fast, accessible racket sport with elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. You play with a pickleball paddle and a plastic ball with holes, on a rectangular court divided in two by a net.
The court measures 6.1 by 13.4 metres, about half the size of a padel court. In the Netherlands a run-back of at least 2.5 metres behind the baseline and 2 metres at the sides is also strongly recommended. Including that run-off you need 10.1 by 18.4 metres.
