Types of artificial turf
Monofilament, texturised or curled
We install three types of fibre: monofilament, texturised and curled. That composition gives the turf natural resilience and a consistent ball bounce, exactly what players expect from a professional padel court.
We lay the turf with sand infill: sand and fibre together give an even bounce and enough grip. You choose the colour yourself, for example blue or green to match your club.

Replacement and circularity
Worn turf becomes new raw material
Over time, artificial turf can show wear or lose playing quality. Replacement is then the answer, on existing courts too. When that moment comes and how the renovation works, you can read on the page about replacing artificial turf.
We work with a closed loop for artificial turf. During a renovation the old turf is processed into 100% circular raw material. That way valuable materials are preserved and waste is avoided.

How long does turf on a padel court last?
That depends on how intensively the court is played and on the maintenance. The turf is UV-resistant and hard-wearing, and regular maintenance extends its lifespan. If it shows wear or loses playing quality, we replace it, on existing courts too.
What happens to the old turf?
During a renovation we remove the old turf and it is processed into 100% circular raw material. We work with a closed loop, so valuable materials are preserved and nothing is wasted.
Is the turf covered by the warranty?
We give a 15-year warranty on the steel structure. Turf and glass are covered by the supplier’s factory warranty. For that too you have one point of contact: I-Padel.
