- Only the data that is needed
- Consent before statistics and marketing cookies
- Access, correction and deletion on request

Who is responsible

This statement was last updated on 2 October 2026. It applies to citizens and permanent residents of the European Economic Area and Switzerland, and to all data you share with us via our website, by phone, e-mail, post or a web form.

In everything we do with personal data, we comply with privacy legislation, including the GDPR. In practice this means:
- We state clearly for which purpose we process personal data; we do so in this statement.
- We limit our collection to the data needed for a legitimate purpose.
- We first ask for your explicit consent where consent is required for a processing operation.
- We take appropriate security measures and require the same from parties that process data on our behalf.
- We respect your right to access, correct or delete your data on request.

Cookies
Which cookies we place and why
Our site uses cookies and similar techniques, such as scripts and web beacons; for convenience we call them all cookies here. Third parties we engage also place cookies.
A cookie is a small file that is sent along with the pages of the site and stored by your browser on your computer or phone. On a later visit that information can be sent back to our servers or those of a third party. A script is a piece of program code that makes the site work and interactive; a web beacon or pixel is an invisible piece of text or image used to map traffic on the site.
Functional cookies
These make sure that parts of the site work properly and that your preferences are remembered, such as your language choice and your cookie settings. We do not need your consent for these. We keep your cookie preferences for 365 days.
Statistics cookies
With statistics cookies we see how the site is used, so we can improve it. For this we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (heat maps and session recordings) and, for videos, Vimeo. We ask for your consent first. The data is processed anonymously and kept for a maximum of 14 months; a Vimeo cookie can remain for up to 2 years.
Advertising cookies
With advertising cookies we gain insight into the results of our campaigns via Google Ads and Google AdSense. As a visitor you are linked to a unique ID, but these cookies do not profile your behaviour and interests to show you personalised ads. Google Ads advertising cookies remain for a maximum of 90 days.
Marketing and tracking cookies
These are cookies or other forms of local storage used to build user profiles in order to show advertisements or to follow you across multiple sites. Because these are tracking cookies, we always ask for your consent first. Microsoft Clarity, for example, uses a unique user ID that is kept for 1 year.
Giving, changing and withdrawing consent
On your first visit we show a cookie notice with an explanation. As soon as you save your preferences, you give consent for the categories you have ticked. You can change that choice at any time via the cookie settings at the bottom of the site. You can also delete cookies automatically or manually in your browser, refuse certain cookies or receive a notification whenever a cookie is placed; your browser’s Help function explains how. Please note: without cookies the site may not work optimally, and deleted cookies are placed again on a later visit once you give your consent.
Sharing and security
Who we share data with and how we protect it
- Sharing with other partiesOnly with processors that work on our behalf and with third parties for which you have given consent. We also disclose data when the law, a court order or a law enforcement agency obliges us to, as far as the law allows, or when it is needed for an investigation into public safety. If I-Padel is taken over or sold, or becomes involved in a merger, your data may pass to our advisers, potential buyers and the new owners.
- SecurityWe take appropriate measures against misuse of and unauthorised access to your data: only the people who need it can access it, access is shielded and we check our security regularly.
- Third-party websitesThis statement does not apply to third-party websites we link to. We cannot guarantee that those sites handle your personal data reliably and securely, so read their privacy statement before using them.
