What we look at

Turf, sand, glass and steel in one visit

A padel court wears in more places than just the turf. That is why major maintenance covers the whole court, from the fibres to the bolts.

  • Artificial turfBrushing, deep cleaning of the fibres and removing organic dirt and ball fluff. This keeps the top layer open and slows down wear.
  • Infill sandSpreading, levelling and topping up sand where needed. The sand keeps the fibres upright and provides grip and bounce.
  • Glass, fencing and netWe check the glass, fencing and bolts and readjust the net height and tension. In between, you check these yourself every month.
  • Steel and drainageInspection of the cage structure and the fixing materials, plus a check of water permeability and sand build-up along the edges.

Major maintenance

What a maintenance visit includes

During major maintenance we go over the whole court with professional machines. You schedule it once a year, or twice a year with intensive use. In between, the club looks after the court itself.

  • Deep cleaning of the artificial turf, including organic dirt and ball fluff
  • Levelling and topping up the infill sand where needed
  • Checking water permeability and sand build-up at the edges
  • Inspection of the cage structure and the fixing materials
  • Adjusting net height and net tension
  • Visual final inspection with a report and action points

Cleaning the glass and removing racket marks are not part of this package. Spreading several visits over the year is often more efficient and extends the life of the turf. Get in touch for a tailored maintenance plan.

  • € 500 - 700per court per visit, excl. VAT
  • 1 to 2xmajor maintenance a year
  • 12 kginfill sand per m² as a guide value

Do it yourself or outsource?

The maintenance schedule at a glance

You can easily do many daily and weekly tasks yourself. Deep cleaning, inspections and bringing the sand back up to level are better left to a specialist; that is also what sports federations and maintenance specialists advise.

Artificial turf

Maintain or replace after all?

The turf determines how your court plays. By brushing, levelling and topping up the sand in time, you keep grip and bounce consistent. Read all about the turf itself on artificial turf for padel courts.

Do you see bald or dark patches, fibres that no longer stand up or water that drains poorly? Then replacing the turf is the safest and economically wisest choice. A turf typically lasts four to seven years, depending on use and maintenance.

Not sure? Then we assess the turf and advise you without obligation. Read more about replacing artificial turf.

How it works

Scheduling a maintenance visit in four steps

We plan around you, depending on the number of courts and the location. A short intake beforehand makes sure the visit runs smoothly.

  • No-obligation quote
  • Also for courts of other brands
  • Report with action points after every visit
  1. Without obligation

    Short intake

You tell us how many courts you have, where they are and what condition the turf is in. We ask about access times, power supply and storage space for materials.

  2. Indicative price

    Quote and planning

You receive a no-obligation quote based on the number of courts, the location and the condition of the turf. We agree a date together; if you want several visits a year, we prefer to spread them out.

  3. On site

    The maintenance visit

We arrive with professional machines and work through the whole list above: from deep cleaning the turf to readjusting the net.

  4. Report and follow-up
    Afterwards

    Report and follow-up

You receive a final inspection with a report and action points. If the turf is at the end of its life, we advise on replacement.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about padel court maintenance

Is your question not listed? Call us on +31 527 210 040 or send a message.

What does major maintenance of a padel court include?

Deep cleaning of the artificial turf including removal of organic dirt and ball fluff, levelling and topping up the infill sand where needed, checking water permeability and sand build-up at the edges, inspection of the cage structure and the fixings, adjusting net height and net tension, and a final inspection with a report and action points. Cleaning the glass and removing racket marks are not part of this package.

What does major maintenance cost per court?

As a guide, we charge € 500 to € 700 per court per maintenance visit, depending on the number of courts, the location and the condition of the turf. Prices exclude VAT, glass cleaning and the removal of racket marks. Spreading periodic maintenance over the year extends the lifespan and limits problems.

How often is major maintenance needed, and what do we do in between?

Schedule major maintenance once a year, and twice a year with intensive use. In between, the club does the daily and weekly maintenance itself: brushing, spreading sand and light cleaning. That follows the best practices for artificial turf and structural maintenance.

Is there a difference between indoor and outdoor maintenance?

Yes. Outdoor needs more attention to drainage, organic dirt and seasonal influences. Indoor is more often about dust removal, humidity and structural inspections. Both variants use similar schedules for brushing, sand management and structural checks.

When should the infill sand be topped up, and how much?

As soon as dark or bald patches appear or the fibres no longer stand up properly. Then top up and level. Guide values are often around 12 kilograms per square metre, depending on the turf and the use. That keeps bounce and grip consistent.

Does too little maintenance affect the warranty or playing safety?

Yes. Insufficient maintenance can reduce playing safety and in some cases affect the warranty conditions. Following the maintenance plan and keeping a log is therefore essential.
