Semi-Permanent Padel Court Without a Concrete Foundation

Install a High-Quality Padel Court Without a Permanent Foundation

Not every location is suitable for a traditional concrete foundation. In some cases, drilling into the existing floor is not permitted, the substructure is not strong enough, or the site is only available temporarily. However, this does not mean that installing a high-quality padel court is impossible.

I-Padel has developed an innovative semi-permanent foundation solution for these situations. Thanks to a specially engineered steel foundation structure, both indoor and outdoor padel courts can be installed without the need for a permanent concrete foundation.

This creates a fully relocatable padel court that can easily be dismantled and reassembled at another location at a later stage.

What Is a Semi-Permanent Padel Court?

A semi-permanent padel court uses a specially engineered steel foundation structure that is installed around the entire perimeter of the court.

Unlike a traditional ring foundation, the court is not anchored directly into the existing floor. Instead, the complete steel structure distributes the load across a large surface area, after which the padel court is secured to the foundation structure itself.

As a result, the existing floor remains intact and no permanent foundation is required.

The foundation structure can be hot-dip galvanized and, if required, powder-coated to provide maximum durability and a long service life.

When Is This Solution Suitable?

Our semi-permanent foundation solution is commonly used when:

It is precisely in these situations that this solution offers possibilities that are often not achievable with a traditional foundation.

Fully Dismantlable and Rebuildable

One of the major advantages of this solution is that the entire padel court remains fully dismantlable.

Thanks to I-Padel’s unique hanging system, the mesh panels can also be removed and reinstalled easily without damaging the structure. This ensures that the court remains suitable for complete relocation at a later stage.

This makes the investment significantly more flexible than a traditionally founded padel court.

Suitable for Indoor and Outdoor Applications

Our semi-permanent foundation structure can be used for both indoor and outdoor projects.

Every location is technically assessed in advance by our engineering team. During this assessment, we evaluate, among other things:

Based on this assessment, we determine whether a semi-permanent foundation is suitable or whether a traditional foundation is the better option.

In-House Engineering and Manufacturing

All I-Padel courts are developed entirely in-house.

This enables us to engineer and manufacture every foundation structure specifically for each project. Because design, engineering, and production all take place under one roof, we can respond quickly and deliver custom solutions whenever a standard foundation is not an option.

This flexibility allows us to deliver solutions that are beyond the capabilities of many other suppliers.

The Advantages of a Semi-Permanent Foundation

A semi-permanent foundation structure offers the following advantages:

Is a Semi-Permanent Foundation Always the Best Choice?

No.

When a location is intended to be used as a permanent padel facility and a traditional foundation is feasible, we still recommend a ring foundation in many cases.

A semi-permanent foundation has been developed specifically for locations where a traditional foundation is either not possible or not desirable. In these situations, it provides an effective solution without compromising the quality of the padel court.

Curious Whether Your Location Is Suitable?

Not sure whether your location is suitable for a semi-permanent padel court? Our engineers will be happy to assess the possibilities.

Send us the details of your location, a site plan, or a few photographs. We will review your project without obligation, determine which foundation solution is the best fit, and advise you on the most suitable installation.
