Padel court foundations
A solid foundation is the basis of every padel court. Without the proper groundwork, it is impossible to create a sustainable, stable, and future-proof padel court. At I-Padel, we therefore look beyond just the court itself. We guide the entire process, from subsoil investigation to the final construction of the padel court.
I-Padel manages the complete project from A to Z and ensures that every foundation solution is tailored to the location, usage, and technical requirements.
Subsoil Analysis
Every location is different. That is why we always start by analyzing the subsoil. Through soil surveys, or by having them carried out by a specialized agency, we map out what is actually in the ground. This provides insight into load-bearing capacity, soil layers, and potential risks such as settlements.
Customized Foundation Advice
After the soil surveys, a foundation recommendation is prepared. This advice determines which foundation solution is suitable for the specific location. For example, whether pile foundations are necessary or if a foundation without piles is possible.
This advice forms the basis for further groundwork and prevents long-term problems.
Not Tied to a Single Foundation Method
Not Tied to a Single Foundation Method
An important advantage of I-Padel is that we are not tied to a single foundation company or method. This allows us to choose the most suitable solution for each project.
Depending on location, soil composition, and usage, we can work with:
- Ring foundation
- Stelcon slabs
- Supersub
- Drain concrete
- Open asphalt concrete
This flexibility ensures that the foundation is always technically sound and adapted to the specific situation on site.
Earthworks and Site Preparation
Once the foundation advice is determined, the earthworks begin. The site is excavated, leveled, and prepared for the chosen foundation structure. This is a crucial phase where precision is essential for the final quality of the padel court.
Properly executed earthworks prevent subsidence and provide a stable base.
Foundation for Outdoor Padel Courts
Outdoor padel courts always require a foundation. Due to weather conditions, wind loads, and intensive use, the foundation must withstand long-term stress. It ensures that the court remains stable and maintains its quality.
Sports Flooring and Bearing Layers
On top of the foundation, the sports flooring is built. This layer determines not only playing comfort but also water drainage and court stability. Depending on the project, Supersub, drain concrete, or open asphalt concrete can be used.
Each solution has its own advantages and applications, tailored to the location and usage.
Court Assembly
After the foundation and sports flooring are completed, the actual construction of the padel court begins. The structure is installed according to technical specifications and calculations, ensuring stability and safety.
Artificial Grass as Playing Surface
The artificial grass forms the final playing surface of the padel court. Choosing the right type of artificial grass affects playing speed, comfort, and durability. I-Padel works with high-quality artificial grasses specially developed for padel.
Soundproofing Measures
In situations where noise is an issue, soundproof panels can be installed. These are integrated into the overall design and included in structural calculations and foundation construction.
One Point of Contact, Complete Guidance
The foundation of a padel court is not a standard product but custom-made. By carefully guiding each phase, from subsoil investigation to the final construction, I-Padel ensures a sustainable and future-proof solution.
